Diamonds were vital to jewelry of this period and this circa 1890 pendant is no exception. The ubiquitous 18th century bow form has been delicately reinterpreted. Dotted with thirty-two (32) old mine cut diamonds with a total weight of .60 carats, the 14k yellow gold bow suspends a pear shaped facet citrine of an approximate 5.6 carats outlined with a 14k yellow gold bezel with a saw-tooth perimeter. The reverse reveals the original bale which can move up or down. A modern 14k yellow gold chain accompanies the pendant.
